Ismail El-Hassan

Ismail El-Hassan is a Wisconsin criminal defense attorney and former Assistant District Attorney. Ismail earned his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School and his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Before entering private practice, he served as a prosecutor in both Lincoln and Kenosha Counties, where he handled criminal matters at every stage of prosecution.

He now brings that valuable experience to the other side of the courtroom, representing individuals facing felony and misdemeanor charges throughout Wisconsin. Ismail believes that everyone who enters the criminal justice system deserves an attorney who will diligently work on their case and advocate for them without judgment.

In his free time, Ismail enjoys Lake Michigan’s lakeside amenities, including beach volleyball, tennis, and running.
